GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Maths Teacher to join a progressive school in Chapeltown starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to motivate students and play a key role in shaping their academic success.
Role Overview:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will lead engaging, well-planned lessons across various Key Stages, helping students grasp mathematical concepts and strengthen their problem-solving abilities. Your guidance will be instrumental in building their confidence and supporting their success in exams and further education.
Your Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:
* Design and provide stimulating Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
* Utilise assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress.
* Foster a positive learning environment that promotes a growth mindset and enthusiasm for Maths.
* Create a well-organised, inclusive, and supportive classroom setting.
* Collaborate with fellow staff members to contribute to broader school goals and initiatives.
Candidate Requirements for Maths Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Prior experience teaching Maths across various Key Stages.
* Deep understanding of the subject with a genuine passion for teaching.
* Effective classroom control and strong behaviour management abilities.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
