At Job & Talent, we are recruiting for Cleaning Operative to work with an important company in the Luton LU2 9NY area. David Berryman is a trusted UK-based manufacturer and supplier, offering support to both local and international brands.
Shift Patterns:
Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
Rota: Monday to Thursday
Pay Rates
Day shift - £12.60 p/h.
1 hour break in total, 15 minutes of which are paid.
As a Cleaning Operative you will need to have:
Previous cleaning experience - ideally in an industrial or warehouse setting.
Attention to detail - able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Reliability and punctuality - consistent attendance and timekeeping are essential.
Ability to work independently - self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.
Physical fitness - able to carry out manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Role of as Cleaning Operative
General cleaning - sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the warehouse areas.
Cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and offices - ensuring all areas are hygienic and well maintained.
Waste disposal - emptying bins and managing recycling where required.
Stocking cleaning supplies - monitoring and replenishing cleaning materials.
Reporting maintenance or safety issues - communicating any concerns to the supervisor or facilities manager.
