Rapidly expanding company requires hard working, dedicated and intelligent people to undertake camera installation and driving work throughout Scotland, England, Ireland & Wales. As-and-When-Required.
In the As-and-When-Required role we are looking for candidates who are reliably available at short-notice (typically four days notice). Work loads vary week-on-week, therefore you may be required five days one week and only three days the next. You will typically be required to drive to several sites and install approximately 50 cameras across a day.
We require reliable individuals who can manage their time to arrive at the depot, drive to the designated site(s) and complete the work within the time frame given. You may be working in all forms of weather, and will be away from home for several days at a time. Efforts can be made to suit working hours to your personal needs.
The position would be suited to people who are comfortable driving long distances and working outdoors at height (4.5 metres). You will be provided tax free expenses (£30 per night) for each overnight stay. All travel (including the provision of rental vehicles), essential material purchases, and any accommodation are paid for by the company.
Work schedules for the successful candidates may require early starts and late finishes. Weekend work may also be required, however scheduling will take in to consideration your overall working hours.
No previous experience in the industry is required, however the role involves working at heights on extension ladders in order to install equipment, generally to the side of lighting columns by the road side. As such, any experience of safely working at heights is a bonus. All necessary training will be provided.
The typical working day will include -
* Receiving your following weeks schedule on the Thursday before.
* Making your way to the office on time according to the work schedule.
* Loading your van, ensuring you have all necessary equipment to complete work along side any personal belongings for staying away if that is required.
* Travelling to your site(s) to install the equipment (locations & sat-navs will be provided)
* Once equipment is installed, depending on distance, you will either return the van to the office or you will head to your pre-booked hotel.
Our cameras are temporary installations, generally on the side of lighting columns for a period anywhere from one to five days. Therefore as well as installing, you will also be required to uninstall the equipment.

Rate of pay is £13.80 per hour for each hour worked and is generally paid on 28th of each month (or the Friday before if the 28th lands on a bank holiday) along with all expenses (where a receipt is provided).
