We are currently supporting several inclusive and dynamic schools in Northampton who are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.
Whether you have previous experience in education or are looking to start your career in the classroom, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional learning or emotional needs.
About the Role:
* Support students in lessons and during independent tasks, promoting confidence, engagement, and academic progress
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for students with SEND, EAL, SEMH, or behavioural needs
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource creation
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through clear boundaries and supportive interactions
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
* Observe and report on student progress to help inform teaching and interventions
We're Looking For:
* A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in supporting young people
* Experience working with children or young people in schools, youth groups, sports coaching, or similar settings
* A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with students and staff
* Understanding of or interest in safeguarding, SEND, or behaviour strategies (training provided)
* A team player who is flexible, patient, and ready to make an impact
* A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is beneficial but not essential
