Salary: £39,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

About the Role
As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will deliver the school curriculum in imaginative and meaningful ways that reflect each pupil’s individual needs. Teaching across Early Years through to Key Stage 2, you’ll adapt learning to ensure every child can achieve, develop independence, and experience success.
You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where pupils are supported to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key responsibilities
* Teach pupils working from EYFS through to KS2, adapting learning to individual needs
* Deliver core Maths and English, alongside a broad and balanced curriculum
* Plan, teach, and assess engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence
* Use practical, hands-on, play-based approaches to learning
* Embed sensory-inclusive strategies into everyday teaching
* Evidence student learning and monitor progress through regular marking and feedback
* Create and manage pupil timetables that meet individual needs
* Draft, review, and update Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
* Attend EHCP annual reviews and provide clear, meaningful progress reports
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school life
* Undertake additional duties as requested by the Head of School
We’re Looking For
* Experience teaching pupils aged 7+, working at EYFS to KS2 levels
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths and English
* Confidence in planning, delivering, and adapting lessons creatively
* A practical, flexible, and nurturing teaching style
* Ability to inspire learning through engaging and innovative approaches
* Commitment to inclusive practice and pupil-centred education
