About the Role
Maxwell Bond have partnered with a fast-growing, digital-first business with a mobile app at the centre of the customer journey, the business is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of the platform and play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of growth.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will sit at the intersection of technology, commercial strategy and customer experience. You will take ownership of the product and technical direction, ensuring the roadmap delivers meaningful customer value while meeting commercial goals and regulatory standards. This is a highly visible position requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Product Strategy & Roadmap
* Define, own and continuously refine the product and technical roadmap for the app-led platform.
* Translate long-term strategic goals into clear, actionable initiatives and successful product launches.
* Balance customer needs, revenue objectives, compliance obligations and engineering sustainability when setting priorities.
Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership
* Act as the central link between business strategy and technical delivery.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, data, marketing, compliance and commercial teams to ensure aligned execution.
* Convert customer insights, UX research and marketing requirements into structured user stories, technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
* Lead backlog prioritisation and guide teams through discovery, build, release and optimisation cycles.
* Provide strategic direction while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day delivery.
* Cultivate a culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.
Customer Experience & Growth
* Drive a mobile-first mindset across the product lifecycle.
* Partner with design and marketing to improve conversion, engagement and retention across digital journeys.
Product & Technology
* Enhance and mature product and engineering processes across the organisation.
* Embed modern product thinking, agile methodologies and high-quality engineering practices.
* Establish clear standards for product excellence and help elevate the business to the next level.
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Product Manager, Senior Product Manager or Technical Product Manager within digital financial services.
* Strong track record delivering product and technical roadmaps in app-first or digital-first environments.
* Deep understanding of agile delivery frameworks and cross-functional product development.
* Experience working within regulated industries and translating compliance requirements into scalable solutions.
* Ability to bridge UX, commercial and technical perspectives to create robust digital products.
Nice to have
* Experience scaling or modernising digital platforms.
* Knowledge of cloud-native systems, APIs and event-driven architectures.
* Exposure to pricing, underwriting or policy administration systems.
