Overview
We are looking for a IT Security Training Team Lead to join our team at Subsea7 on a full-time basis in our Westhill, Aberdeen office. As the IT Security Training Team Lead you will manage a number of key business‑facing initiatives. Your main priorities will be maturing our security awareness training programme. As an integral part of the IT security team you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering a range of training materials, including a cyber security awareness month, regular phishing awareness campaigns and annual cyber security training. You will also develop new initiatives to keep engagement levels high.
The role is suitable for a candidate with experience delivering training to a technically diverse audience and someone with an interest and understanding of cyber security. Clear communication skills will be vital to ensure that cyber security messaging is delivered effectively across a range of mediums including written, verbal and computer‑based training. You must be able to liaise with colleagues from multiple functions and regions and translate requirements between the technical teams and business users.
The IT Security Training Team Lead will report into the IT Cyber Security & Compliance Director and will be a key part of the IT security team.
What will you be doing?
* Plan and implement cyber security drill exercises for both IT and business audiences
* Liaise with business continuity leads to ensure lessons learned are implemented
* Plan, deliver and enhance the regular email security training program
* Plan, deliver and enhance our annual cyber security awareness month through blog posts, webinars and other methods
* Lead the internal recruitment and management of a new Cyber Champions Network
* Manage communications and training for key stakeholders related to cyber security initiatives
* Provide ongoing feedback on the effectiveness of training initiatives and propose clear improvements and next steps

* Experience delivering tailored IT training to diverse audiences, including planning, creation and delivery
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience delivering engaging presentations to wide audiences
* Clear written English skills
* Experience running and managing phishing campaigns
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to source feedback from stakeholders
* Ability to work autonomously with support from a wider team when required
* Previous experience in a Cyber Security role
* Preferably experience with an Immersive Crisis Simulations platform
