Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our close-knit, friendly, family-run accountancy practice based at our office in the Wolverhampton area. Responsibilities
* Processing payroll using Sage Payroll for multiple clients - weekly and monthly
* Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records across various accounts
* Reconciling control accounts and preparing financial summaries
* Supporting general accountancy work, including VAT returns and year end accounts
* Creating and managing spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting
Requirements
* Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll
* Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll
* Familiarity with accountancy practices, including control accounts and VAT
* Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet management
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* A proactive, trustworthy individual who thrives in a small team environment
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
