Job Title: Electronics Lead
We're looking for an Electronics Team Lead to head a team developing advanced electronic systems for complex applications. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and team development to ensure consistent excellence in design, integration, and compliance.
You’ll lead the design, testing, and implementation of electronics—including PCB development, power systems, and control architectures—while collaborating with mechanical, software, and systems teams. You’ll drive improvements in engineering practices, support technical bids, and align team capabilities with strategic goals.
You’ll also play a key role in recruitment, mentoring, and fostering innovation, ensuring your team remains adaptable and forward-looking.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (2:1 or higher)
* Strong hands-on background in electronics design (e.g., microcontrollers, comms, power systems)
* Leadership experience in a prototyping or development environment
* Familiarity with full project lifecycle and compliance (CE, safety, EMC)
* Experience with motion control systems
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
* Master’s degree and 5+ years in technical leadership
* Background in regulated or defence sectors
* Knowledge of control theory, software-electronics interfaces, and systems engineering
* Involvement in recruitment and technical sales support
