Role Responsibilities To support the team in managing their caseloads, which will involve some co- working of complex cases Quality control of written reports/assessments/minutes including court reports, produced within the team Assist in the writing of reports for less experience staff and support at meetings and within the court arena Chair and attend meetings in line with Statutory duties Plan and conduct group supervision sessions within the team Representing Team Manager in strategy meetings Acting as first point of reference for case work issues where consultation is needed Recommending to Team Manager any financial payments required for families and or young person Contribution to supervision of individual members of the team, particularly less experienced SW/OT staff Assigning tasks to team members (usually under guidance from Team Manager) To ensure that all casework is managed within appropriate codes of practice, statutory/departmental guidelines Maintains an awareness of corporate and departmental equalities, health and safety, sustainability and other relevant policies and procedures and applies them in the day to day job requirements including in planning the future direction of the service.
