The role is based in Luton, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced Partners on a variety of commercial property matters. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, financing and refinancing, landlord and tenant issues, development work, and leasehold management. Experience in leasehold enfranchisement, development, and financing is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sound technical drafting of sale contracts, transfers, overage and options, licences, notices and agreements for leases and associated complex completion statements and relevant calculations.
2. With supervision, as may be necessary and with increased experience develop efficient systems to manage a busy caseload involving diarising to ensure key deadlines are met whilst also keeping the supervisor fully appraised on matters.
3. Keeping up-to-date electronic client files and working 'paper light'.
4. Maintaining accurate and full live matter related time records.
5. Developing and protecting relationships with clients whilst also increasing professional credibility when dealing with existing clients to encourage new business.
