Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee VAT submissions.
* Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management.
* Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
Qualifications
* A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance.
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
