Term Time 33 weeks plus 7 weeks during holidays The role: Harrow Schools team of Kitchen Porters have the vital role of ensuring the various School kitchens are always clean, organised and tidy and that correct hygiene standards are observed. You will assist with unloading kitchen deliveries, washing kitchen pans/utensils restaurant cutlery/crockery etc., moving and cleaning heavy kitchen equipment and operating using careful use of kitchen chemicals and manual handling techniques. The skills: You will have previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, being used to a busy workplace and using your good communication skills so that you can work safely and support your colleagues. You will have high standards of personal presentation, and pride yourself on providing a clean, safe and well organised kitchen for your colleagues to operate within. A good working knowledge of the English language is necessary to follow important health and safety guidelines.
