The role
Join SDR as a Team Leader (Complex Needs Service) We are looking for an experienced Team Leader, ideally with experience supporting individuals with epilepsy, to join our new bespoke supported living service in Worthing. You will also have experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and lead a complex needs service, providing high-quality, person-centred support to an individual with complex needs. Working Pattern 36 hours per week Rotating Monday–Sunday shifts Combination of early and late shifts What We Offer £15.25 per hour, reviewed annually Career development and progression opportunities as the service grows 29 days annual leave (pro-rata), including bank holidays Pension scheme (where eligible) Life insurance (post-probation) Structured induction and full training support Strong ongoing management support Referral bonus scheme (£200 on appointment and £300 after 1 year, T&Cs apply) Company sick pay (post-probation) Driving licence required About the Role You will lead a small team supporting a young individual with autism, a learning disability, and complex health needs, including epilepsy. This person enjoys building relationships, humour, and engaging in activities such as outdoor trips, music, water play, and trampolining. Your role will be to ensure they receive safe, consistent, and person-centred support that promotes independence, confidence, and positive experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team delivering high-quality, person-centred care Provide day-to-day leadership and role modelling Support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and epilepsy Ensure safe delivery of care and effective management of complex health needs, including epilepsy Work closely with families and external professionals Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes Ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed and updated Support staff supervision, training, and development Maintain a safe and structured environment Apply Today If you are ready to take the next step in your leadership career and make a real difference, we would love to hear from you. careers@sdrgroup.co.uk 07484 482896 If you do not have a CV, please get in touch for an informal chat.
