Overview
European Sales Manager role at TieTalent. A well-established manufacturing business market leader in the UK seeking a seasoned European Sales Manager to cover a vast territory. The role is ideally suited to a technical consumables sales specialist based in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium or Holland. This position is home-based within Europe.
Responsibilities
* Work with and manage our key distributors to create demand for our products by providing site support to end-users and wider industry stakeholders.
* Manage direct reports across the European territory (currently 3) and ensure, as a team, you are driving sales in the region.
* Plan and implement a business development strategy for your region.
* Manage your own diary and activity; this is an autonomous role requiring planning of time, travel and accommodation where required.
* Prepare monthly reports of sales activity including customer feedback, progress against plan and competitor activity.
Qualifications
* Knowledgeable in the technical consumables world of paints, resins, coatings, adhesives, construction, flooring, roofing, abrasives.
* Fluency in English; any other European languages would be an advantage.
* A highly motivated self-starter, commercially aware, with ability to prioritise workload.
* Full driving license and passport; willingness to travel throughout Europe as required.
Requirements
European-based candidate with ability to travel up to 70–80% of time depending on home base.
