Responsibilities:
- Perform MOT tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards
- Inspect vehicle components and systems, including brakes, suspension, exhaust, and emissions
- Identify and document any defects or issues found during the test
- Advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance to pass the MOT test
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Experience:
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in auto body repair is preferred
- Knowledge of auto restoration techniques is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions
