Multi-academy Trust - Finance Manager - Salary Up To £53k Plus Excellent Benefits - Based Stockport Your new company Multi-academy Trust with progressive plans for growth over the next few years. Your new role As an experienced Finance Manager, you will be reporting to the CFO and taking ownership of the financial support for Primary Schools within the Trust, including consolidation of monthly management accounts and audit. Please note, this role will be based full-time onsite with visits to other schools around 1-2x per week, therefore access to a car and a full UK Drivers' licence are essential. An Enhanced DBS check will also be required for successful applicants. What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / CIPFA / ACCA), with a background in public sector organisations (Non-Profit, Education, Local Authority or similar would be desirable), and recent experience in a similar role, where responsibilities have included production of management accounts, month-end procedures and year-end preparation for Audit. You will be confident and forward-facing, with the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues. You will have a disciplined approach to workload, the ability to adapt quickly in a new environment and proficiency in Excel. Public sector experience is preferred, although candidates with mixed sector experience will also be considered.
