Job Summary
The Posting Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing data entry and administrative tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and proficiency in various software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with clerical duties, and providing exceptional phone etiquette while interacting with clients and colleagues.
Duties
* Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy to maintain up-to-date records.
* Manage and organise files, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and properly archived.
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace to create, edit, and format documents as needed.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
* Handle phone calls professionally, providing information and support to clients and team members.
* Maintain inventory of office supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
* Support the finance team by entering data into QuickBooks for accurate financial reporting.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Requirements
* Previous Postoffice office experience is essential, with a focus on clerical duties.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable but not mandatory.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Good phone etiquette to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
