Job Summary
We are recruiting for a team who will work with people overnight. This role is fully flexible, and once registered with our service you will have the freedom to accept shifts that are offered out on a regular basis.
There will also be opportunities for regular work on a weekly basis.
What will you be doing?
The short answer is: Supporting clients and their families overnight wherever there is a need.
Night needs that our team will be supporting with could be:
* Supporting someone who has a UTI and due to confusion, is up and down at night, tired and at risk of falling
* Sitting with someone who is in their last days of life, supporting family members to rest while they can
This is a lovely role, which can be incredibly rewarding. Providing much needed care and reassurance in the quieter hours of the day at a time when people really need it. It would suit a night owl who is calm and cool in a crisis, but equally happy reading a book while keeping an eye.
Experience
* Depending on the person who needs support - Previous experience may not be required however this is always a plus Full training will be provided regardless.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
