Bedford High School Manchester Road Leigh WN7 2LU Salary: Grade 3, 16,289 - 16,807 per annum. 12.45 - 12.85 per hour (Based off 30 hours per week) Part time hours. We will consider applications for part time reduced hours or job share maximum hours up to 30 per week term time. Temporary until August 2026 Required as soon as possible Bedford High School seeks to appoint an effective and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to be able to work closely with staff, parents and outside agencies, follow individual care plans as directed and establish good relationships and team working with the wider school community. Bedford High School has a dedicated SEND department named The Base. The department consists of our Sendco, Deputy Sendco, Lead Send TA, and 7 Teaching Assistants. We forge good working relationships with students and teaching staff and pride ourselves in offering a range of interventions including delivery of maths, literacy and well-being in the classroom and 1:1 support. We support our students in the setting of and monitoring short term goals, as well as creating and developing learning plans to ensure effective strategies are used in the classroom setting. In addition, we offer a range of lunchtime and after school activities.
