We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Winchester, starting as soon as possible. The Role As a Year 2 Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across all areas of the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will foster independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours, while providing tailored support to pupils, including those with SEND and English as an additional language. A key aspect of the role is preparing pupils for the transition into Lower Key Stage 2, ensuring they are confident, capable, and motivated learners. You will work closely with teaching assistants, Key Stage 1 colleagues, and senior leaders to maintain consistency and high standards across the year group. Effective communication with parents and carers is essential to support pupils’ learning and ensure strong home–school partnerships.
