Are you the right person for the job?
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction discipline
* Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the UK construction industry
* Experience leading, managing, or mentoring QS teams
* Strong commercial and contractual understanding (NEC and JCT)
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
* Proactive, organised, and confident working on fast‑paced, technically complex projects
* Able to influence both internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
What will your role look like?
* Lead and manage the commercial aspects of multiple M&E projects from tender through to final account
* Provide commercial leadership, guidance, and mentoring to a team of Quantity Surveyors
* Oversee cost planning, financial tracking, value engineering, and risk management
* Prepare, negotiate, and agree valuations, variations, and contractual claims
* Work closely with operations, engineering, procurement, and finance teams
* Manage subcontractor procurement, assessment, and payment processes
* Produce accurate forecasts, margin reports, and commercial updates for senior leadership
* Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes and systems
* Support client relationship management and contribute to strategic business development
