An exciting opportunity has arisen within a successful national player, who is a leading name within the water treatment / legionella industry and has a portfolio of clients throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and committed Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in and around the Reading area. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record of effectively managing and developing new and existing water treatment/hygiene or legionella accounts. Applications from Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience
* The individual must come from a good educational, management, accounts, sales, and business development background.
* A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
* Experience managing a varied portfolio of water treatment, legionella or water hygiene accounts.
* Previous experience in a sales/commercial role within the water industry is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Competent with Microsoft office package.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and developing a portfolio of water treatment accounts, including Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers and Closed System accounts.
* Analysis of water treatment processes, ensuring that the water treatment programmes are compliant with current guidelines and are fit for purpose.
* Acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts – cross selling their services whilst still managing the existing services.
* Managing staff and at the same time building and maintaining good working relationship clients.
* Attending to Key Performance Indicators.
* Producing tenders and Quotations.
* Facilitating targets and achieving goals.
* Identifying and troubleshooting any problems in a timely and effective manner.
Overall, the successful candidate will be commercially focused, astute, with strong effective communication skills and must be flexible with regards to travelling.
