We are recruiting a repair scheduler to work for a North West leading social housing landlord to cover a 9-month maternity leave post until January 2027.
Your new role
As a Scheduler in the reactive repairs service, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring customers receive a seamless and high-quality service. You will provide an exceptional resource planning service for customers. In addition to managing the operatives’ diaries, you will be handling inbound calls and emails and conducting outbound calls to ensure customers are kept informed about their repair or maintenance request and ensuring that information is updated on the appropriate systems accurately and in a timely manner.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week between the hours of 8-6pm Monday–Friday. This role is mainly home-based, but you will be required to go into the office 1 day a week, and you may be required to attend up to 2 days for training and staff meetings when required. You must be able to travel into the office based in Birchwood, Warrington when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require:-
1. Knowledge and experience of scheduling
2. Excellent customer service skills and experience of handling customer contacts
3. Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise a busy and reactive workload that can have conflicting priorities.
4. A positive, resilient, and flexible approach.
5. Ability to demonstrate reliability and initiative and be able to work as part of a team and on your own.
6. Be honest & reliable, respectful & fair and care about our customers.
Ideally you will…
7. Have experience of scheduling a repairs and maintenance service.
8. Have experience of FLS & Accuserv, but training can be provided for the right person.
9. Have social housing experience.
