This is a permanent 25 hour post. The post holder must have general ward experience and relevant experience in working within rural areas and A&E is desirable. The hospital serves the community of the Isle of Mull and Iona. There are 3 GP Acute inpatient beds and includes the provision of end of life care. There is also a community casualty department for all emergencies as well as minor injuries and the hospital is the centre for out of hours care referred through NHS24. We are a small team of nurses and Health care assistants and as Nurse on duty you will be working as a lone worker in charge of the clinical shift, supported by the GP on duty.
