The Dermot Murphy Continuing Healthcare Unit is a purpose built 22 bedded facility based in the M20 locality of South Manchester, close to tram and bus links to surrounding areas. The building is set in its own grounds and provides on site parking for staff.
The unit cares for adults with life limiting and complex physical healthcare needs, in a home from home environment which promotes a high standard of nursing care a quality of life.
Please note that this role involves working weekends and bank holidays. Internal rotation onto nights will also be required
If you have experience or interest in complex health nursing, have good communication skills and commitment to excellence in nursing care we would love to hear from you.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and you will be expected to demonstrate in depth knowledge and clinical expertise. You will also be expected to demonstrate a sound understanding of the issues relating to the identification, assessment, treatment, and management of this specialist client group.

Interested candidates should have highly effective interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a diverse team of professionals. Candidates should also be able to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to use their own initiative.
