This role will be working Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am however during training you will work day shifts.
Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cast Moulding Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating moulding equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and organised workspace. Duties
* Set up and operate moulding machinery according to production specifications
* Prepare moulds and materials prior to casting processes
* Monitor the moulding process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety protocols
* Regulate moulding temperature, volume, pressure and time as necessary
* Perform routine inspections of product for surface defects and flaws
* Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, or repairs as required
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to comply with health and safety standards
* Assist in the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse or production area
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
