The Role

We are seeking a Traffic Manager who will work with our teams to manage a commercially robust flow process, increasing efficiency and accuracy of our trafficking/ resourcing process. The role requires a confident, proactive, and collaborative individual to work with and gain the trust of all levels within the business, playing a key role in supporting our overall company vision and growth objectives.


Key areas of responsibility:

* Manage resource allocation for the Creative & Content, Marketing & Comms, and Strategy departments
* Lead weekly resourcing meetings and keep up to date with upcoming projects, progress of existing work and make recommendations budgets, timings and resources available.
* Manage a robust resourcing workflow process, to increase efficiency, utilisation and getting the right people on the right job (ensuring not overstretching/not over-resourcing)
* Collaborate with project managers and department heads to resolve resource-related conflicts, negotiate resource sharing and balance competing priorities.
* Manage and maintain resource management tools (at the moment float), systems and processes to enhance visibility, transparency, efficiency and reporting.
* Support medium term capacity planning reviews with the PDs to assess and manage resource demands based on project priorities and objectives.
* Day to day management of the Creative Director’s time.
* Responsible for ensuring freelance timesheets are completed and invoices are processed.


Skillset Requirements

* Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly.
* Work with and trusted by all levels, inc dept heads.
* Proactive, fast working and decisive.
* Proven experience in working in Traffic, Resource or Operational Management – 3 to 5 years.
* Confident in working effectively with people at all levels. Be able to communicate effectively and not to dodge the difficult issues.
* Experience of resourcing software and systems.
* Proven experience of working in fast-paced and fast-growing organisation.
* An ability to identify issues or risks and resolve effectively.
* Ability to identify future resource gaps and work with HR to find suitable candidates.
