Teacher of Design & Technology – Secondary School in Preston, Lancashire
Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology to work in a thriving secondary school in Preston, Lancashire from September 2026. This long-term Teacher of Design & Technology position in Preston, Lancashire has no set end date and would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to further their career in a supportive setting. The school was graded ‘Good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection and is recognised for its inclusive ethos and commitment to student achievement.
The successful Teacher of Design & Technology in Preston, Lancashire will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop creativity, practical skills and confidence within Design & Technology.
Requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Experience teaching Design & Technology within a UK secondary school.
3. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
4. Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
5. A passion for supporting young people and raising attainment.
6. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
