A leading Scottish commercial law firm is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join their thriving Real Estate / Commercial Property team. This is a standout opportunity for a commercially astute lawyer with 6+ years' PQE to contribute to high-value, cross-border real estate transactions and work alongside top-tier professionals.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering market-leading advice across sectors such as offices, retail, industrial, and student accommodation, including:
1. Acting for private equity, high net worth individuals, institutional and overseas investors in sales and acquisitions.
2. Managing lettings, lease re-gears, and other asset management matters.
3. Leading on transactions involving shopping centres, retail parks, and high street properties.
4. Supporting the real estate aspects of corporate deals, including cross-border matters.
5. Advising lenders and investors in real estate financing and development projects.
6. Handling title examination, contracts, and leasing for prime properties.
You will work closely with specialists in planning, construction, corporate, and banking teams, often taking responsibility for transactions while mentoring junior colleagues.

7. Qualified solicitor with strong experience in Scottish commercial real estate law.
8. Confident in leading transactions and providing strategic, pragmatic advice.
9. Excellent communicator with a commercial mindset and passion for the property sector.
10. Comfortable working across jurisdictions.
11. A proactive team player, keen to contribute to business development.
