About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) in Chesterfield, you will be instrumental in delivering tailored support to students, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers and fellow support staff to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities of Primary Teaching Assistant (TA):
Adapt educational activities and materials to suit individual student needs.
Support students in understanding and completing their work, offering guidance and encouragement.
Provide feedback to teachers and adjust support strategies as needed.
Promote a cohesive and consistent approach to student development.
Create a warm and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued.
Address diverse learning styles and educational needs.
Communicate progress and concerns to teachers, parents, and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements of Primary Teaching Assistant (TA):
Understanding of the unique challenges and needs of primary-aged students.
Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to build trust and rapport within the school community.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
Relevant qualifications or training in primary education (desirable but not essential).
To work with us as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will need:
The right to work in the UK.
An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through us.
