Job Title: Field Based Labourer/Installer Location: Birchwood, Warrington (WA3) Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 overtime (DOE) Shifts: Monday- Friday 08:30hr to 17:00hrs Contract: Permanent Our client is a well-established, market leading business that design, manufacture and install glazing and other components for industries including healthcare, education & government. As the Field Based Labourer/Installer, you will be working within a small team of installers, travelling nationally with approx 2 nights away from home each week (paid for). Due to the nature of the role and insurance purposes, you must be over 25 and hold a full UK driving with no more 3 points on your licence (no DR10s or IN10s) As the Field Based Labourer/Installer, you will be; Work as a team with other installers, fitting glass panels, glazing systems, and canopy structures. Help position, lift, and secure materials safely on-site. Prepare installation areas (cleaning surfaces, setting out tools, conducting/checking measurements). Maintain and store tools properly after use. Assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment from vans. Completion of all relevant paperwork. Liaise with customers, maintaining a professional manner at all times. As the Field Based Labourer/Installer, you will have the following skills /experience; Previous experience within a Labouring/Joinery/Shop Fitting or Glazing or similar industry is essential. CSCS card holder would be advantageous. Ability to use power hand tools. Ability to work at height. Due to the nature of the role, you must be physically fit. Due to insurance purposes, you must be over 25 and hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points (no IN10s or DR10s) No criminal convictions as you will need to undergo a DBS check. You must be flexible to start earlier when required and work away from home approx. 2 nights per week (paid for)
