Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join our team at our authentic Italian restaurant. Experience is welcome but not essential what matters most is a genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn. We will provide full training to help you develop the skills needed to prepare pasta dishes, meats, and starters to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook pasta, meat dishes, and starters following our menu and recipes (full training provided).
Learn and maintain high standards of food quality, flavour, and presentation.
Keep your section and the wider kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
Follow all food hygiene, safety, and health regulations.
Assist with stock rotation, storage, and minimising food waste.
Work efficiently during service while supporting other members of the kitchen team.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
Show initiative, enthusiasm, and a passion for learning new skills in Italian cuisine.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is welcome but not essential a genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn are most important.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, in line with the restaurants needs.
Enthusiasm for hospitality and a desire to provide guests with a great dining experience.
