Powered Access Engineer – Workshop
Salary: £38,000
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday days
Overtime paid at 1.5
My client is a global supplier of Powered Access machinery and due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled workshop engineer to join their ever growing team.
The Role
Inspect, service, repair and refurbish MEWPs to manufacturer and statutory standards
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
Carry out scheduled maintenance, pre-delivery inspections and function testing
Install accessories, retrofit kits and safety devices
Complete job cards and inspection records accurately
Liaise with workshop management, parts and field engineers
Work in line with HSE, LOLER, PUWER and company safety proceduresWhat We’re Looking For
Experience working on MEWPs or similar mobile plant
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Team-focused with good communication skills
Full UK driving licence and own basic hand toolsDesirable
Engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
IPAF, CAP 1b, diesel engine diagnostics experience
Forklift or telehandler licenceWhat’s on Offer
