Managing Associate - Real Estate (Future Energy) – Bristol – 6+ Years PQE Location: Bristol (Hybrid and Fully Remote Options Considered) Type of Role: Permanent, Full time Salary: £75,000 to £95,000 (depending on experience) A leading national practice is seeking a Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate Future Energy team in Bristol. This is an exceptional opportunity to specialise in one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving sectors, working with major clients across the clean energy industry and contributing to high profile renewable energy projects.
The Role You’ll take a senior role within the team, advising on a wide range of clean energy and real estate matters, including:
Drafting option agreements and leases for wind, solar, battery storage, EV, hydro and other renewable energy schemes
Undertaking due diligence, including title review, enquiries and searches
Acting on the financing of clean energy projects and large scale acquisitions/disposals
Working collaboratively with colleagues across corporate, banking, construction, planning and regulatory teams
Managing your own caseload with early responsibility and significant client contact
Supporting wider real estate work including landlord & tenant, corporate support and public sector matters
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying business development opportunities
Contributing to the team's financial performance and strategic growth
Candidate Requirements
Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, with 6+ years\' PQE in Real Estate
Experience advising clients in the future energy or renewables sector
A strong track record in business development and client relationship management
Experience supervising Associates and/or Paralegals
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with clients at all levels
Ability to provide strategic, commercially focused advice
Commitment to contributing to the development of the team locally and nationally
