Compass Associates are proud to be working exclusively with a leading provider of specialist adult social care in their search for an experienced Registered Manager. This is a key leadership role overseeing a cluster of supported living services.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered, candidates must currently hold registration with the Care Inspectorate (or be eligible to register) and have at least two years of experience in a Registered Manager role within adult social care. Experience overseeing multiple services is strongly preferred.
The Role
This is a leadership position in which the successful candidate will oversee service delivery, staff leadership, compliance and quality improvement, ensuring a consistently person-centred and high-performing service.
The post holder will drive operational standards, maintain full regulatory compliance, and promote a strong culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead and develop a group of adult services, ensuring safety, compliance and person-centred practice
 * Coach and support Service Managers to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
 * Maintain accountability for service performance, budgets and staffing
 * Oversee quality audits, compliance monitoring and service improvement plans
 * Build and sustain positive relationships with local authorities, commissioners, families and external professionals
 * Promote a positive workplace culture that supports retention, engagement and staff wellbeing
 * Drive digital adoption and ensure effective use of care management systems
 * Embed safeguarding, best practice frameworks and quality governance across services
Applicants should have:
 * Proven experience managing services for autistic adults, people with learning disabilities or individuals with complex needs
 * Sound understanding of Scottish care regulations and compliance frameworks
 * SVQ4
 * Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification in Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care
 * Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills
 * Financial and operational management experience across multiple service settings
 * Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between services
