Chelmer Medical Partnership has a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant for 30+ hours per week to join our forward-thinking practice.
Our well established practice is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant with Primary Care experience to assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include:
1. Phlebotomy
2. ECGs
3. Diabetic health checks
4. Flu vaccinations
5. Simple wound care
6. Dressings
7. B12 vaccinations and more.

We are a three-site practice based at Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery and Tennyson House Surgery. 14. Successful completion of the Care Certificate, or willingness to undertake, as indicated by the CQC
15. Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
16. Experience of working within a GP practice, primary care or another healthcare setting
17. Strong clinical skills;
18. Confidence and competence in all HCA duties required for the post
19. Excellent patient-facing communication and interpersonal skills
20. Consistently confidential manner, as well as a compassionate and respectful approach, placing a high value on the dignity of patients, relatives, carers and colleagues
21. Ability to work independently and determine own workload priorities, as well as working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
22. Strong organisational and time management skills.
