About the RoleWe’re looking for a Product Design Engineer (NPD) to help create the next generation of innovative products within our Ninja Beverage range. Based in our London Design Office, you’ll play a key role in turning ideas into real, market-ready solutions—bringing both technical expertise and creative thinking to deliver products that truly delight consumers.Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you’ll partner with global teams across the UK, US, and China to take concepts from early design through to production. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in our Battersea office.What You’ll DoYou’ll contribute across the full product development lifecycle, combining engineering rigor with hands-on problem solving:Lead or support design studies to solve technical and consumer challenges during product developmentTake designs from concept through CAD, prototyping, and verification, delivering at paceContinuously refine designs to improve cost, manufacturability, quality, and consumer valueApply sound engineering principles to develop robust, real-world solutionsLeverage knowledge of materials and high-volume manufacturing processes to optimise designsBuild and test prototypes, conduct lab testing, and document results clearlyCollaborate closely with cross-functional and global teams to bring ideas to productionCommunicate effectively and contribute positively to team dynamics, supporting and learning from othersWhat You’ll BringYou’re a hands-on, curious engineer with a passion for creating great consumer products:Degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar1–3+ years’ experience in a product, mechanical, or industrial design environmentExperience (or strong interest) in consumer goods or household appliancesKnowledge of plastic manufacturing processes is a plusProven ability to take products from concept to marketProficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CreoStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamHands-on approach to prototyping, testing, and validationCollaborative mindset, flexibility, and a positive, inquisitive attitudeOur CultureAt SharkNinja, we don’t just raise the bar—we push past it every single day.
