Excell Supply is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable Afterschool Club assistant to support a welcoming primary school setting in the Middlewich area.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and are looking for flexible, rewarding work within education.
The Role:
As an Afterschool Club assistant you will play a key role in providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children at the end of the school day. You will supervise activities, encourage positive play, and ensure the wellbeing of all pupils in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising children during afterschool sessions
* Organising and supporting fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities
* Promoting a safe and inclusive environment
* Supporting children’s social development and positive behaviour
* Following safeguarding and school policies at all times
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children (school, childcare, or similar setting)
* A positive, energetic, and caring attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability and flexibility
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
