Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to identify, develop, and manage business opportunities for our diverse range of products. This role combines technical expertise with sales proficiency to deliver customized solutions that meet client specifications and drive project success from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities by engaging with client engineering and procurement teams.
* Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate project specifications into customized technical proposals.
* Develop and present detailed quotations, including cost structures and engineering specifications.
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up to close deals.
* Provide market and customer feedback to product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote products and enhance brand visibility.
* Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs, focusing on lead generation, proposal submissions, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of sales activities, client interactions, and competitor insights within our CRM system.
* Monitor ongoing projects to ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery of solutions.
* Stay informed on market trends and competitor products to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications
* 5+ years’ proven experience in a similar sales or technical role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Background in a technical field, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NHD, HNC, or equivalent).
* Strong ability to learn and articulate new product features and benefits to potential customers.
* A personable and confident communicator, dedicated to customer success.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites and conduct engaging sales presentations.
* Fluent in English, Spanish and Mandarin not essential but advantageous.
