We’re looking for someone special to join a welcoming Liverpool primary school this September — someone who truly understands how important patience, empathy, and consistency are when working with children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant role, starting in September, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff after an initial period through Teaching Personnel. What you'll be doing: Supporting pupils (mostly in Key Stage 2) who may find mainstream education challenging Building trusting relationships and helping them feel safe and valued Encouraging positive behaviours and emotional regulation strategies Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and outside agencies to deliver personalised support Being a calm and reliable presence — every single day counts Who we’re looking for: We’re after someone who’s not just confident, but compassionate.
