Job Description Summary Within GE Vernova’ Grid Solutions business, the Power Transmission Business Line (PT), is accountable for the design, production, sales and services of high and medium voltage products. We help customers decarbonize the grid and expand world electrification. Power Transmission is a high growth and profitable business including 17 factories and services centers in more than 40 countries. It employs 7 000 employees around the world. Power Transmission Academy plays a vital role by addressing expertise development in priority and strategic areas with identified shortage of skilled resources and onboarding of large employee populations. The PT Academy program manager leads the design, development, implementation, evaluation of PT Academy technical classes in close cooperation with PT subject matter experts. He/she coordinates the training journeys on time, at expected quality level and within budget. The role reports to the PT Academy Leader. Job Description Main responsibilities : In coordination with PT Academy leader and selected Subject Matter Experts, aligned with PT strategic priorities, the Academy Program Manager leads -or takes part in (depending on the projects)- all the steps of a learning project, from analysis of the need to final implementation and continuous improvement loop. ANALYSE : Participate in pre-analysis of training projects before GO/NOGO (identify problem/gap, identify training need, identify top level learning goal, stakeholders, target audience, required resources, estimate duration and cost ) DESIGN : set learning objectives, build a team, create learning outline, plan resources, select suppliers, plan communication DEVELOP : Manage training production : onboard experts and suppliers, manage project from A to Z, until final delivery of training module, define quality evaluation method IMPLEMENT : communicate, organize training delivery and participation (invitation, classroom or virtual sessions logistics, attendance, test, issue certificates….), execute trainees & program evaluation, place training resources online, deliver training completion credit when required EVALUATE : in a continuous improvement perspective, evaluate and propose improvements for next projects TOOLS : contribute to the set-up, curation, maintenance of the Academy tools (LXP, LMS, Etc…), participate in redaction and update of PT Academy processes MARKET WATCH : Watch learning market for innovations in learning techniques eg. AI solutions Required Qualifications Ideally, the candidate has a strong a knowledge of our products and business, as well as a deep understanding of our industry operations and services. He/she has background in designing and implementing large-scale training programs, with proven competencies in project and budget management.
