Logistics Administrator required for this new exciting permanent role located in South Cambs.
Salary: Up to £30,000pa
Hours: 37 per week
Location: South Cambs - in the office 3 days a week, 2 days working from home.
As a Logistics Administrator you will be:
Producing shipping documentation - worldwide
Data Entry
Liaising with freight forwarders
Obtaining quotes, sea, air, road, courier
DHL/Fedex Booking couriers & documentation
Setting up new projects on Microsoft teams
Uploading documents onto Microsoft Teams
Forecasts on supply projects
Resolving any queries with deliveries/invoicing
Assisting accounts with any payment issues re deliveries PODs etc
Shipping schedules – worldwide – working with Factories both China and Europe to ensure production running smoothly
Supply projects management – from raising delivery notes to invoicing
Inventory Management various stock locations including Mexico and reports
Stock reconciliation monthly
GRN stock into transit and warehouse /client
Monitoring shipments worldwide
Maintaining and updating schedules with shipment detailsYour skills/experience:
Microsoft Excel skills essential
Keen attention to detail essential
Microsoft Teams skills beneficial
An excellent communicator
Previous experience within logistics preferred but not necessarily essential
Ability to multitask and forward plan.
Be able to demonstrate a professional manner at all times
