We are seeking a seasoned bids and pursuits professional ready to take on a strategic, industry‑aligned role within an international law firm in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing global team dedicated to driving work-winning excellence across the Energy, Infrastructure, and Real Estate sectors. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, industry groups, and partners to shape and deliver compelling, client‑centred proposals that influence major projects and transactions across EMEA.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the Bids & Pursuits team, you will:
* Lead end‑to‑end bid and pursuit processes — from qualification to submission, presentations and aftercare.
* Develop distinctive win strategies aligned to market dynamics in energy, infrastructure, and real estate.
* Coach stakeholders and BD colleagues on best practice, value propositions, and pursuit strategy.
* Collaborate across markets and industry groups to strengthen a high‑performance BD culture.
* Review and elevate key messages, writing quality, and proposal impact.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the firm’s global bidding systems and tools.
* Hybrid working is offered, with 60% office presence and flexibility for home working.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
* 5+ years' experience in bids/pursuits within professional services, ideally covering energy, infrastructure or real estate.
* Proven success managing complex, multi‑stakeholder bid processes.
* Strong writing skills and the ability to translate technical detail into clear, compelling narratives.
* Advanced capability in influencing, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience coaching junior team members and improving pursuit performance.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent PowerPoint/Word skills.
* A degree in English, humanities or related disciplines is advantageous.
