SEN Specialist Support Assistant - Primary School - Notting Hill
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full Time, Long Term
Location: Notting Hill, London
Salary: 100 - 120 per day (dependent on experience)
School Type: Mainstream Primary School
We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated SEN Specialist Support Assistant to join a well-respected primary school in Notting Hill starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with additional needs, making a meaningful impact in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
About The Role
* Full-time, long-term position
* Working closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom
* Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver personalised learning plans
* Supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils
About You
* Previous experience working with children with SEN essential
* Strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective support strategies
* Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* A proactive team player with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being
