About the Role
Master Drilling Australia are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team, based in Perth. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure assets are maintained efficiently and reliably. This includes developing short- and long-term maintenance plans aligned with operational needs and resource availability.
Please note: This role is Monday to Friday, Perth based with frequent travel to project-based sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day to day maintenance planning activities whilst co-ordinating resources, parts and equipment for all short- and long-term maintenance plans, including preventative, corrective, breakdown and shutdown activities
* Ensure material and resource availability through timely ordering and co-ordination
* Maintain stock levels and proactively manage long lead items
* Work with supply chain team to improve forecasting and reduce delays
* Facilitate planning meetings and collaborate with statutory integrated maintenance scheduling
* Support asset management objectives through performance monitoring, continuous improvement and budget planning
* Monitor work order status, including overdue and incomplete jobs and keep Maintenance Supervisor informed of any delays or anomalies
* Act as a liaison between maintenance, operations, engineering ensuring all departments are kept updated
* Analyse data to identify trends and recurring issues
* Recommend and implement improvements to task frequencies, plans and executions
About You
* Strong background in maintenance planning or coordination in mining or heavy equipment environment. (Trade qualification Desirable, Not Essential)
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient in interpreting technical documentation and translating it into actionable plans.
* A continuous improvement mindset and ability to analyse data for trends and insights.
* Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
* Proficiency with maintenance systems, work orders, and documentation.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
* Ability to successfully complete Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol
* Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance (less than 6months old)
