We are looking for a skilled communications assistant to join our client on an initial 6 month contract, with the potential of becoming a permanent job. The position offers lots of flexibility with up to 3 days a week remote working, along with the opportunity to get involved with some exciting upcoming projects. Communications Assistant responsibilities Assist in the development and execution of communication plans. Write and edit copy for internal and external communications, including press. releases, newsletters, social media posts, and website content. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications. Monitor and respond to company social media accounts. Help plan and coordinate events and conferences. Assist with media relations and outreach. Conduct research to support communications efforts. Help prepare materials for presentations, speeches, and meetings. Required skills Experience in a similar position Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with social media management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign.)
