Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products
* Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise and services
* Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales
* Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing store layout
* Handle transactions accurately using the till and manage cash effectively
* Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Organise stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work atmosphere
Requirements
* Strong communication skills
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
* Proven organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and stockroom
* Experience in merchandising is an advantage but not essential
* A friendly disposition with a genuine interest in helping customers
