Overview

Salary: Qualified Teachers Pay Scales: Main Pay Scale (MPS) to Upper Pay Scale (UPS)

Start Date: January 2026

Cobholm Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive, committed, and ambitious Teacher with EYFS and KS1 experience. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant and real impact on outcomes for children. Applications from Early Careers Teachers are welcomed.

Main responsibilities

* To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
* To monitor and support overall progress and development of students as a teacher and therefore contribute to raising standards of student attainment
* To offer active support for the School’s Policy and Procedures taking into account the Teachers’ Standards


The ideal candidate will have

* An appropriate degree and other qualifications required for the award of QTS
* Qualified Teacher Status (trainees should be on track to achieve QTS before taking up the post)
* Experience of working with EYFS and KS1 children
* Experience of supporting children with high needs SEND and behaviour needs
* Experience of teaching RWI phonics scheme
* Experience of the monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting of pupils’ progress
* Knowledge of the statutory requirements concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND and Child Protection
