What you'll be doing
* Use of forklift to empty process metal skips and unload vehicle deliveries of process consumables
* Carry out routine & basic maintenance of mobile plant, including oil and water checks; report defects found
* Assist with on-site traffic management and site housekeeping
* Operate overhead travelling refuse cranes
* Operate weighbridge & plant maintenance computer systems
* Support operations and maintenance colleagues with routine tasks on day shift
* Compliance with company environmental, health and safety procedures and statutory requirements
* Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management
What we're looking for
* Current mobile plant and forklift truck driving qualifications
* Ability to operate, or train to operate, a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant
* Intermediate computer skills
* Familiarity with health & safety procedures
* Able to communicate effectively orally & in writing
* Available and willing to work overtime (paid) when workload demands
